Halloween in the UK

We had a great time at Halloween. A lot of people wanted to know what Halloween was all about and how we celebrated in the States. Well that was just an open window to Madelyn planning a party. As some may have know, she planned the menu. Her menu was cake, cupcakes, and cookies. Then I told her that we needed more than just that for a dinner time party. She said, "hummmm! Add chips!". Haha! That girl! So we added chips and salsa, (thanks to Danielle) hamburgers, hot dogs, salad, and pasta salads. We had sooo much food. But then again we had so many people. Ryan and I tried to do a head count of all the people but we lost count. We could say there were about 50 people in our little house. That is adults and children. That is not counting all the kids that came to the door and said "Trick-or-Treat", and Madelyn told them to come on in.

It was a great time by all. We had several different countries represented at our house that night. We had people from India, UAE, Denmark, UK, Israel, Oman, and us crazy Americans.  Now how many five year olds can say that they had so many different countires represented at their first Halloween bash? Well, Madelyn Grace can add that to her list for this year. I believe that they all had a good time. They also got to see that it isn't all about being scary. It is about kids being kids and dressing up as their favorite characters and having FUN! They got to hit some houses and get some free candy. Madelyn was in shock of the different candy that she had in her bucket. It wasn't her usual M&M's and she loved it!

I will add some pictures of Madelyn and her friends and of the spread we had. I totally lost the ability to take pictures once everyone started showing up.
